Hey, remember six-ish weeks ago when I dissected the troubling loss of 36 RSO units?
Or ten days ago when I recounted the difficulties I've been facing with a related CPRA request?
At the very bottom of that second link, I recount how the CD1 office didn't respond until March 8 (well after the 10 calendar days allowed by law), and promised to have the records to me by "the end of the day, Friday, March 29."
Well, it is now Saturday, March 30. I NEVER heard from anyone in CD1 after that extremely, and illegally, late response. Liar, liar, pants on fire.
What are you and your team doing, Eunisses? You got elected because your constituents thought you'd be a good councilmember. I made the CPRA request because I am concerned about the rights of tenants displaced in your district (I don't even live in CD1), and your office blatantly failed to comply with a simple enough public records request.
I don't give up that easily and I am going to keep digging into this whether anyone else likes it or not. You don't have any reason to withhold this information...right?
Oh, and for extra fun, I STILL haven't gotten a clear answer regarding the legality of requiring applicants for the replacement low-income apartments to be full US citizens. Since the property is in Westlake, I'd bet my last dollar that multiple immigrant households lost their homes.
